I didnt use it

Yesterday in the shower my 4 yr old said he was done washing up. My husband says 'you did not wash your hair.'. He replied, 'I don't have to, I didn't use it yesterday.' Man these kids are smart. So funny. But we made him wash his hair, regardless of if it was used or not.

Catching Butterflies

Today I saw how sweet a life of a child is. I looked out the window and discovered my 7 year old tip toeing around the yard trying to catch butterflies. He was so cute and sweet as he crept up on the butterflies and tried to cup his hands around them. Eventhough they got away at the last second, he did not stop trying. It was so wonderful to see how happy he was as he even wispered to them. Wish I could capture these moments and relive them all over again.

Happy Easter

The kids all had a wonderful Easter. It was pooring down rain here and freezing. But that did not deter the kids from getting soaked looking for candy filled eggs. Papa hid about 250 this year. We found all but 4. The kids of course had a great time and ate a ton of candy. My head still hurts for them running around the house (since it was raining they could only pay inside) screaming and talking and having fun.

My 2 year old dropped his 2nd egg he found and discovered there was candy inside of it. After that he just wanted to sit and eat instead of search for more. Luckily we convinced him he should find more so he would have MORE candy. That worked. We caught our 4 year old asking his cousins dog, 'Doggy, do you know where any eggs are hidden?' Kids are so funny.

Happy Easter and God bless.

Princess or a Trashman

Today my 4 year old asked my 5 month old if she wanted to be a Princess or a Trash man when she grew up. He is too funny. I told him I wasn't sure. He says to her 'well you could do both. I'm gonna be everything when I grow up.' My 7 year old told him he couldn't be everything. 4 year old, "Sure I can, I will do different jobs everyday. I can do anything I want."

I love the innocence in a child and the desire to be anything they want. I hope they never loose that will and the ability to dream.

Long Day

We had a long day yesterday. We drove back from Disneyland. Funny how the ride back always seems twice as long. But traveling with 4 kids, yes 4, wasn't too bad. My oldest just turned 7!!!! Wow, I can't beleive it.

I have finally uploaded some new hair clips on etsy. Please take a look. mommyslovebugs.etsy.com
